Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were defeated within the first five minutes. She returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving an ominous mark on her records for amateur. Ladd rebounded from the loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen became a professional in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via one-round TKO. Her next bout was a win with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's superior wrestling skill defeated McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. In her last fight for the promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round at the end of the second. She remained dominant as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the first round. The winner also got the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd took home an unanimous decision in a great back-and forth fight between the two fighters received her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. Yana Knitskaya lost by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7.7 on ESPN. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
